Training
I provide training in the fundamentals of Family Law for non-legal professionals working with people experiencing separation, divorce, or domestic abuse and coercive control. The training is designed to support therapists, mediators, divorce coaches, financial advisors, charities, GPs and schools. I am passionate in my view that a better understanding of the law and processes involved in the family justice system, will improve outcomes for the individuals and families involved.
Supervision
Supervision is specifically aimed at legal professionals and is premised on the understanding that working in law is highly pressured and demanding, and that unmanaged exposure to this can lead to chronic stress and burnout. Moreover, many solicitors experience vicarious trauma from regular exposure to other people’s conflict. Supervision is a confidential, forum for you to explore and work through such challenges, so that you can develop and grow healthily, with balance.
What I offer
I offer CPD-accredited Family Law training designed specifically for non-lawyer professionals working with individuals and families experiencing separation, divorce or domestic abuse. Whether you are a therapist, mediator, divorce coach, or work in a school or charity setting, my training will give you the practical understanding of Family Law you need to better support the people you work with.
Reflective supervision for legal professionals is also coming soon.
